What I thought was great about this book, is how much you can learn about someone when you walk in their shoes. Of course, that is kind of cliche, especially when these are fictional characters. But as much as you can't stand Ophelia in The Heir, she really shines through in this book, and you definitely can understand what and where she's coming from.
Rafe was a great character as well. He saw inside Ophelia where everyone else only saw her on the outside. All in all, I really enjoyed this book! :)
